Blue Skies, Blue Waters, and Blue Bell-bottoms
One of my favorite pastimes has always been the thrill of the chase for the perfect vintage find. I have a knack for quickly scanning the racks and picking out great pieces from various thrift and vintage shops. Here I introduce to you, one of my favorite finds, my "rhoyal" blue bell-bottoms.
I got these bell-bottoms from one of my favorite stores, Goodwill. They were an absolute steal costing me only $4! Thankfully they fit me, as I would have been heartbroken to have left them behind. I love the bold statement the bold blue hue gives any outfit.
I usually pair them with a sheer black top for going out, or in this case, with a white off-the shoulder top from Zara to make the outfit more casual.
For accessories, I wore vintage 1950s pumps I also found at Goodwill, and a leather and calf-hair bag I bought at a local market in Mexico. I thought adding the neutral tan tones to the outfit gave it some warmth and dimension. The multi-toned handbag tied everything together, creating a truly chic look.
It was the perfect outfit to walk along the beautiful waters of Seattle.
